Have you ever tried something so delicious you can barely stand it…and something that you’re even more shocked that you actually made. This is one of those recipes. When you make this Strawberry crunch pound cake, you’ll feel like you’ve died and gone to heaven.
This is a tried and true recipe !! if you want to satisfy your sweet tooth, you cannot go wrong here. This is the way my Mother always made, just give a shot it won’t fail you !
°Vanilla sugar 10 g
°Baking powder 2 tsp
1 Weigh the ingredients. Adapt the weight of each ingredient which must be the same as that of the eggs. In general, 4 eggs represent more or less 250 g.
2 Preheat your oven to 180°C. Melt the butter for 30 seconds in the microwave.
3 Mix the butter with the sugars (fine and vanilla). Gradually add the eggs.
4 Once this mixture is done, add the flour little by little. Warning: do it in small quantities to avoid lumps.
5 After the flour, add the baking powder. Mix until you get a perfect mixture.
Butter your mold, pour in the batter and put it in the oven. Start monitoring after 40 minutes of cooking. As long as the cake does not darken, you can leave it in the oven. After 60 minutes maximum, the cake is certainly sumptuous.
