Classic Homemade Strawberry Cheesecake!!!
Ingredients:
3 (8-ounce) packages softened cream cheese
1 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 large eggs
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced.
1/4 cup strawberry jam.
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press mixture into prepared pan firmly.
Beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth in a large bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Mix in sour cream and flour until well combined.
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust that you prepared.
Bake for 45-50 minutes till the center is almost set and edges are slightly golden browned.
Allow cheesecake to cool for about 10 minutes then run knife around edge to release from side of pan. Let it come to room temperature entirely before refrigerating .
On top of your cooled cheesecake arrange sliced strawberries with tops on them facing upwards..
Heat strawberry jam in small saucepan over low heat until it melts completely and gets liquidy..
Glaze the top of strawberries using the strawberry jam by brushing some onto them..
Keep cheesecake in refrigerator for no less than four hours or overnight prior to serving.
