Ingredients

For the Crust and Topping:

Salt a bit

One and a half cups of all-purpose flour

¾ cup of cold butter, cubed

Half cup sugar

For the Filling:

Pinch of salt

Two large eggs

Half cup flour

Cupful of sugar

Can with sixteen ounces crushed pineapple

Sour cream half cupfuls

For the Icing:

1 tsp coconut essence

1 c powdered sugar

two tbsps. half-and-half.

 

How To Make Pineapple Cake Bars

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).

Take a bowl and combine flour with sugar for crust mixture.

Make mixture crumbly by cutting in cold butter. Reserve one cup of this mixture.

Grease well a 9×13-inch baking dish; firmly press remaining crust mixture into bottom.

Crust should bake for approximately fifteen minutes until it turns light golden.

Combine the filling ingredients in another bowl. Mix them till they are fully mixed together. Spread this filling over pre-baked crust in baking dish.

Create leftovers as crumbled topping by sprinkling retained crust mix on top of filling.

You should bake bars for an hour or more, during which top will become yellowish and middle will be firm.

Let bars cool down during about twenty minutes.

In separate container, beat icing ingredients until they become smooth & quite combined.
